I was born in Moscow, and have been living here all my life. I have graduated from Moscow City Pedagogical University and I have a specialist degree in English teaching. I have been a tutor for 16 years
teaching a variety of age groups. I have experience in teaching small babies, toddlers, school children and teenagers, teaching groups of adults, and teaching adults one on one online and offline. I had three year experience being a governess of a child with autism, and taught him English through game and physical activity. I also had two year experience, teaching a bilingual child with ADHD how to read and write, in order to enter a British school.
I am a passionate linguist and adventurer! I have lived in USA with my father for 3 months, and have visited 13 European countries. My travels are often gastronomic, as I love cooking and really enjoy tasting food from all over the world. My grandfather was a stage light designer, and I spent my childhood behind the scenes, exploring theatre world and watching plays. I enjoy opera, ballet, and art, as well as being creative myself. I guess, the combination of my father, being a jazz musician, and my theatre passion, resulted in my love towards phonetics, accents, and dialects. I am also a dog lover.
I have a wide range of teaching techniques to assist you with the core language learning skills of listening, reading, writing and speaking. I use both technology and many course publications to create focused lessons that meet your requirements and needs. Most of all though, I believe, is that the relationship between students and teachers is paramount to the learning process and this is the core of my teaching.
